Capital of the Suket State, Punjab, situated in 31 30' N. and 76 56" E., 3,050 feet above sea-level. Population (1901), 2,237. The town is picturesquely situated in a valley. It was founded by Gahrur Sen, Raja of Suket, after Kartarpur ceased to be the capital of the State.
