In some cases, the limbs had to be amputated due to severity of injuries and in some cases the victims needed months of recovery to get back to their normal routines. Till July this year, 77. 7% of the victims were from the capital, the rest being referral cases from Uttar Pradesh (10. 6 %), Haryana (6. 9%), Bihar and other states.
