Vizagapatam District, Madras, situated in 18 degree 48' N. and 82 degree 44' E. &lt;br /&gt;
It is the head-quarters of the Koraput subdivision, and the residence &lt;br /&gt;
of the Special Assistant Agent and the Superintendent of police, &lt;br /&gt;
Jeypore, as well as of several German missionaries. Population (1901), &lt;br /&gt;
1,560. There is a police reserve here, besides the usual head-quarters &lt;br /&gt;
offices and buildings. &lt;br /&gt;
