Range of hills in the head-quarters subdivision of &lt;br /&gt;
Hazaribagh District, Bengal, extending between 24° 10' and 24° 14' N. &lt;br /&gt;
and 85° 24' and 85° 35' E., in a general direction east and west for &lt;br /&gt;
14 miles. Their sides are steep, but not entirely scarped; the top &lt;br /&gt;
undulates and has an average breadth of about a mile. The general &lt;br /&gt;
elevation above the Sakri valley is 1,600 feet, and the elevation above &lt;br /&gt;
sea-level at the eastern end 2,210 feet. A waterfall, Kokalkat, 90 &lt;br /&gt;
feet in height, leaps down from the northern face of the range in &lt;br /&gt;
