January 23, 2018: The Times of India


The national record holder quarter-miler clinched gold in the third and final leg of the Asian Athletics Grand Prix in Taipei City by clocking 45.69 seconds. In May, clocked 45.32 to smash the national record in the men’s 400m and win gold at the third leg of the Indian Grand Prix in Patiala, thus qualifying for the IAFF World Championships. Followed up with gold in the 400m men’s event at the 22nd Asian Athletics Championship in Bhubaneshwar, clocking 45.77 seconds.
