Pearl Academy celebrated 25 years in India with the launch of their new, state-of-the-art campus in the heart of Delhi in July 2017.

The 100,000 sq. ft. campus, transformed from a shopping mall located in Rajouri Garden, is in addition to its already existing Delhi campus at Naraina; and has been designed keeping in view the needs of learners, providing digitally enhanced classrooms and wide collaborative spaces.

“This new campus houses multiple schools offering variety of courses in design and styling. The future of design is collaborative, and the campus allows for such intervention with its corridors and classrooms buzzing with conversation of a cross disciplinary nature, faculty and students working together on projects that range from social, cultural, environmental and lifestyle design,” says Shalini Gupta, course leader, UG Fashion Styling and Image Design.

“The various collaborative spaces, stateof-the-art labs give us the perfect and an imaginative learning environment. In all, it is a place that portrays the ‘modern day education hub’,” says Shiv Chawla, a student of interior and spatial design.

In November 2017, Pearl Academy in partnership with Adobe, launched ‘Adobe Digital Technology Academy’ at the campus thereby enabling learners to leverage the power of digital technologies and tools for skill building.

Besides this, the campus has been hosting many renowned designers and international guests. Recently, the campus hosted the members of the Executive Council of the International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes (IFFTI).

Some of the members present on the occasion included professor Robyn Healy, head, RMIT’s School of Fashion and Textiles, Melbourne and Deirdre Sato, dean, FIT, New York among others.

Sato commented,“I am intrigued by the modern layout of the campus and the different spaces. It’s very contemporary and fresh.”

“The international exposure, rich resources, cutting edge laboratories, industry driven curriculum and above all the faculty make this the next-gen campus for students. The layout and facilities are such that it will not only help students discover their natural talents but will teach them how to develop those talents into strengths and apply those strengths in the leadership roles in their career,” says Veena Dutta, campus director, Delhi Noida.
