Pir Sohawa is a well-known picnic spot near Islamabad. It’s 25.8km continuing uphill from Daman-i-Koh and takes around 25 to 30 minutes to reach from Islamabad city. It’s a beautiful place to go and spend your evenings or holidays. Pir Sohawa also receives occasional snowfall and the jubilation at that time is unprecedented.

The lush green hills of Pir Sohawa make the visit a memorable one! Pir Sohawa is surrounded by hills and mountains, which give the place a completely natural and scenic look. From one side of the place, which itself is a hill you can look at Islamabad laid in front of you.

You can also find stalls of traditional things in Pir Sohawa. The material sold there usually depends on the time of the year you visit it — in summers they sell random things like embroidered bags and pouches, in winters they usually sell shawls, hats and even clothes sometimes! A lot of traditional jewellery is also available there including earrings and beady necklaces, which attract girls even more to visit Pir Sohawa.

Pir Sohawa is also a well-known place for hikers in Islamabad, so if you are interested in hiking, this place is a must visit for you. It has become a popular place for a stroll or picnic with friends and family. A lot of people come to Pir Sohawa to view Islamabad against the backdrop of Margalla Hills especially at night time or in the evening when it’s dark. The lights of the city make an attractive site.

In a nutshell, it’s an amazing place to go, relax and have tea. A new restaurant has been established in Pir Sohawa, which is very popular among people who live in its nearby areas. Its beautiful natural decor give the area a completely natural yet ultimately beautiful look making it the ideal place to go and have food while cherishing natural beauty. As the weather of this place is just awesome even in the hot summer the open area of the restaurant is more crowded because people usually come to enjoy food in the natural environment.

One thing I like about this restaurant is that whatever time you go there it is as lively as ever. If you go there for lunch, you will see families and people up there enjoying lunch in the great weather with the sun out! And if you go there for dinner, the amazing lights look absolutely beautiful in the darkness of the night. So anytime you go, you will have a good time!

Mesmerised by the beauty of Pir Sohawa, I never feel like coming back whenever I go there. It’s time you go and check it out if you haven’t. This piece of writing cannot justify a tiny portion of Pir Sohawa’s beauty but it’s just an effort to let you all know that this place is one of the most beautiful places of our country and you can have amazing food there too.
