Suraiya Hasan Bose resurrected the heritage fabrics of Hyderabad, and the twin Telugu states of Telangana and AP.

Suraiya Hasan had married Aurobindo Bose, nephew of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, who founded the Azad Hind Fouz. She was the niece of Abid Hasan Safrani, close associate of Netaji. Safrani, who belonged to Hyderabad, had coined the slogan ‘Jai Hind’ and risen to the rank of a major in the Azad Hind Fouz.
