Professor Venkat Sastry and Mrs. Sara Brown of the Shrivenham campus visited Bangalore to hold an alumni get together, they also put up a stall on behalf of Cranfield University in the Education UK exhibition on Monday, 9 Feb 2015 in Bengaluru.
Prof. Sastry welcomed everyone and gave a short presentation on Cranfield University and also talked about the various alumni of India. Mr. A B S Kumar, visited Mr. Vivek Sinha (Propulsion, 1951) as he was unable to make it to the get together. All the alumni remembered old days over a very fine cuisine.
Mr. A N Kumar (Aircraft Production & Design, 1959) was the senior most alumni present from the Cranfield campus.
A special thanks to Mr. Arif Ahamed (Air Transport Management, 2013), Mr. Subramanian Chandran (Thermal Power, 2013) & Major Rohit Gupta (MVT, 2014) for all their support and travelling from Chennai to Bangalore to attend the get together.
