Mrs. Ann Marie Frank, Head of Business Communications and Development, Cranfield Defence and Security very kindly invited the Indian alumni for drinks at the Defence Systems and Equipment international (DESi) at London’s ExCEL on Tuesday 10 September 2013. It was attended by many international Alumni who had come to attend the DESi. The Director General Defence Academy of the United Kingdom Mr.Peter Watkins CBE & the Head of Cranfield Defence and Security, Professor Ian Wallace interacted with the Indian Alumni in particular.
The event was held with the primary purpose of enabling participants to meet old friends and make new business contacts, as well as hear news about plans for future engagement with alumni and industry.
Professor Wallace’s presentation updated the audience on the Cranfield partnership with the MOD at the Defence Academy. He highlighted CDS’s growing international footprint and network.
After the presentation the attendees enjoyed refreshments and a chat, in the atmospheric surroundings of the DSEi Land Theatre.
