Mr Dominic McAllister, The British Deputy High Commissioner, Bengaluru and Sir Peter Gregson, Vice-Chancellor of Cranfield University very kindly invited the Cranfield India Alumni to high tea on Wednesday 15 February 2017 from 1730 Hrs. to 1930 Hrs. at 3A, Sydney Court, #37, 7th cross, Lavelle Cross Road, Bangalore.
The British Deputy High Commissioner very kindly hosted the Alumni on the roof top of his residence.
Dr. Simon Harwood, the Director of Defence and Security at the Cranfield University, Dr Venkat Sastry, Head of Group, Applied Mathematics & Scientific Computing and Dr. Suresh Sampath of the Gas Turbine Systems & Operations, Centre for Propulsion, Cranfield University were also present at the function.
The event was organised on the sidelines of the Aero India 2017, held at the Air Force Station, Yelahenka, Bangalore
The get-together was attend by approximately 80 Alumni coming over to Bengaluru from Chennai and other parts of India.
The alumni present were graduates from 1967 to the current day.
A large number of friends of Cranfield University were also present, these included representatives of industries and of other universities with who Cranfield University entered into a Memorandum of Understanding during Aero India 2017.
