THE LIST OF ATTENDEES



The Shrivenham & Cranfield get together took place on 25 November 2012 at Kohinoor Asiana Hotel, 1/238 , Old Mahabalipuram Road, Semmencherry , Chennai - 600 119.

This was a unique get together as for the first time in India the staff from Shrivenham were present along with the India alumni. The staff present were Dr. Sastry, Ms. A .M Frank, Ms. J Powell-Turner, Mr Rick Adcock, Mr Jonathan Searle and Dr. R Darby. Dr. Shastry presented V.Adm. Guha (RMCS - 1969-70) with an RMCS neck tie and also an RMCS shield.

The alumni travelled from Calcutta, Balasore and Delhi to attend the get together. I would like to personally thank Dr. R C Bhattacharya, V. Adm Guha & Cdr. Jena for taking all the trouble and pain in travelling from far of places to attend the get together. There was ample interaction between the Shrivenham staff and the alumni.

Quite a few old names were remembered and faces recognised. The alumni not present were talked about and then their current photos were seen on the India alumni website. The starters, food and the desserts at the convention hall at the Asiana Hotel were just excellent.

Vice Admiral B. Guha 1969-70, Royal Military College of Science, Shrivenham was the senior most graduate present from the Shrivenham campus.
Prof. R. C. Bhattacharya 1974-75, Cranfield Institute of Technology, Cranfield was the senior most graduate present from the Cranfield campus.

Mr. Vivek R Sinha, Admiral Madhvendra Singh, R. Adm. A B Singh, Cdr. Parag Shegal, Mr. C N Prasad, Mr. A.N.Kumar, Mr. Vignesh S K, Commodore N. Hariharan, Dr Colonel Kunal Bhattacharya, AVM RP Mishra, Lt Gen Surender Verma & Mr. Manoj Tyagi could unfortunately not attend the get together due to prior engagements.
