Born 2003
In 2017 Dushyant was studying in the class VIII at a school near Bhiwani in Haryana. Standing at 5 feet 9 inches and weighing 70 kgs, the 13-year-old said that like his four sisters, he, too, is passionate about wrestling.
Dushyant hadn’t partaken in any state-level competition till Jan 2017, however, he regularly competed in the ‘dangal’ that is organised in his village.
The teenager, like his sisters, too goes through the gruelling training sessions that begin before the break of dawn.
Dushyant wakes up at 4 AM and begins his practice within half an hour at the training hall that the family has built inside the house.
Here he trains till 7 AM.
Dushyant second training session of the day begins at 4:30 PM and lasts for two hours.
The teenager says that he draws his inspiration from his father and four sisters — Geeta, Babita, Ritu and Sangita.
