Temple in the Kadi prant Baroda State, situated about 23 miles from the town of Kadi, and about the same distance from Modhera. The temple has been built in the jungle, and is surrounded by large and costly works designed for the accommodation of pilgrims and others — wells, tanks, dharmsalas, dispensary, &c. In the months of Aswin (September-October) and Chaitra (March- April) crowds of devotees visit the shrine from all parts of Gujarat and make their offer- ings to the goddess.
