In 1994 Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt won a Grammy for the album A Meeting By The River (1993) with Ry Cooder and other western artists.

Vishwa Mohan Bhatt is an instrumentalist from Jaipur known for playing Mohan Veena (slide guitar). Recognized for his fusion and pan-cultural collaborations with many western artists.
