(or Rauza). — ' Crown ' taluk in the north-west of Aurangabad District, Hyderabad State, with an area of 129 square miles. The population in 1901, including jaglrs, was 14,512, com- pared with 16,353 i n I 89i, the decrease being due to the famines of 1897 and 1899-1900. The taluk contains 38 villages, of which 9 are jaglr, and Khuldabad (population, 2,845) * s The head-quarters. The land revenue in 1901 was Rs. 43,300. The country is hilly towards the east and north.
