Anahat wins U-19 title in Edinburgh: Teen sensation Anahat Singh produced a dominant performance, bagging the girls’ U-19 title at the 2023 Scottish Junior Open squash held in Edinburgh. Anahat claimed a 11-6, 11-1, 11-5 victory over home favourite Robyn McAlpine in the final.

New Delhi : Teen squash player Anahat Singh secured her sixth PSA Challenger title of the year by winning the women’s singles crown at the Costa North Coast Open 2024 in Coffs Harbour, Australia, on Sunday. Seeded third in the tournament, the 16-year-old downed Japan’s sixth seed Akari Midorikawa in straight games 3-0 (11-6, 11-6, 11-7). In the semifinals, she defeated Hong Kong’s seventh seed Kirstie Wong 3-1 (11-5, 7-11, 11-7, 11-9), after having previously swept aside Bobo Lam and Helen Tang from Hong Kong in the earlier rounds.

British Junior Open squash

Anahat finishes second in British Junior Open squash: Rising Indian star Anahat Singh signed off with a runner-up finish in the girls’ U-17 category at the British Junior Open squash tournament in Birmingham. The Indian top-seed Anahat went down 2-3 to Egyptian second seed Nadien Elhammamy in a tense 68-minute cliffhanger at the University of Birmingham on Sunday.
