HEPTATHLON BRONZE AT 2022 ASIAN GAMES

The daughter of a tea-seller father who used to work a second job as a security guard and a mother who works as a domestic help and also irons clothes, Nandini began practising at Gachibowli stadium in 2018. After she was spotted for her talent, coach Ramesh and the GopichandMytrah foundation started helping her with finances as well as training. She also changed schools to be able to access coaching facilities. She was soon winning more than a dozen medals every year and even broke the national record at the World Junior Athletics.
