Anusha became an athlete only to realise her brother’s dream. He dreamt of becoming a footballer but met with an accident and had to leave the sport. Anusha consoled her distraught brother and promised him that she’d live his dream. “It was quite difficult to control my brother. He was so upset after doctors told him about his leg. Today, he is extremely happy and is enjoying my success. Thanks to the support and training I am getting here, I’m confident of winning more medals for my country and my state,” Anusha said.
