Pirpainti, 1908
Village in the head-quarters subdivision of Bhagalpur District, Bengal, situated in 25degree 18 N. and 87degree 25' E., on the East Indian Railway. Population (1901), 2,741. There is a considerable export of country produce. Stone is quarried in the neighbourhood.
