Town in the Kaithal tahsil of Karnal District, Punjab, situated in 29degree 46' N. and 76degree 34' E., on the bank of a great tank called the Pundrak tank. Population (1901), 5,834. It was formerly one of the strongholds of the Pundirs, a Rajput tribe who held Thanesar and the Nardak. It has a vernacular middle school.
