2015: Bronze at the ISSF World Cup finals

The Times of India, Oct 18 2015

There is some good news for India from Cyprus, as double trap shooter Mohd Asab won bronze medal at the ongoing ISSF World Cup Finals in Nicosia. Asab, who was the only Indian in the field that had world's top-11 shooters, was down with dengue till last week.Due to high fever and weakness, the Meerut shooter couldn't attend the national camp, which was held in Patiala in the first week of this month. “The result today is pleasing. Asab was down with fever and coming up to win a World Cup Finals medal is commendable. He has been shooting well since past one year but has remained unlucky on a couple of occasions earlier. He shot brilliantly today ,“ India's foreign coach Marcello Dradi told TOI from Nicosia.
