There’s more to God’s own country than just the sun and the sea. About 80 km from Cochin in Trichur district in Kerala are the Athirapally waterfalls in hilly rain forests—and it’s as wild and beautiful as it can get. The waterfall along with its sister, the spectacular Vazhachal, drop from misty mountains and merge with the Chalakudy river.
