Rani Rampal is all of 20, but the striker has been a key member of the Indian women's team for the last five years, barring the injury in 2012, that threatened to jeopardise her career. At 15, she played the 2010 World Cup in Rosario, Argentina where she scored seven goals. Three years later, she was instrumental in Indian winning bronze at the junior World Cup with six goals.Hailing from a modest background, Rani has shown that perseverance and proper guidance can help one achieve their dreams.
