Bahlolpur

(Bkilolfiitr) Village in the Samrala tahsil, Ludhiana District, Punjab, situated in 30 55' N. and 76 22' E. Population (1901), 2,194. It was founded in the reign of the emperor Akbar by two Afghans, Bahlol Khan and Bahadur Khan, whose descendants still live here. It is now of no importance. Three tombs, said to date from the time of Akbar, stand on the west side of the village.
