The beginnings

Daljeet Kaur hails from a Punjabi family, with an army background.
In 2004, she won the title of Miss Pune.
She made her television début in the drama, Manshaa.
Her first role as a protagonist was in serial Kulvaddhu.
Daljeet had won the title of Nach Baliye 4 with partner Shaleen Bhanot.

Life with husband Bhanot
She was seen in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and played the lead in Kulvadhu some years ago. With her husband and also TV actor, Shaleen Bhanot, she won Nach Baliye 4 in 2009. The two fell in love soon after the show and finally married on December 9 that same year. But her married life brought much controversy and she finally gave up on it.
Daljeet’s life was going great with her booming career and then finding her love in Shaleen Bahnot who shot to fame by being a part of reality TV show Roadies. They were soon blessed with a baby boy, Shaarav.
However, the couple called of their marriage after five years of togetherness. Apparently Shaleen's abusive behaviour lead to the split. Daljeet also filed a police complaint against Shaleen for assaulting her.
She was approached by Bigg Boss team to be on the show this season. However, instead of being one of the biggest fans of the show, the actress refused to take part in it because of her 2 year old son, Shaarav who is too young to stay without mommy.

I had never expected that it will move on in such a full swing. I have lost around 25 kgs post pregnancy and it feels fantastic. This new me image has provided me lot of positive energy and motivation; it started reflecting in my work too. This is the sexier version of me (laughs).”
