Jalna Hills

Range of hills in Hyderabad State, running east- ward from Daula&b&d in AurangSbad District Close to the border of Berar it is joined by a spur of hills from Jalna in the south, from which the range derives its name. After entering Berar it merges into the Sahyidriparvat or Satmala range. The Jalna Hills are about 2,400 feet high, one of the peaks, Daulatabfid, being 3,022 feet above the level of the sea. The total length of the range is about 120 miles.
