Kesabpur
Village in the head-quarters subdivision of Jessore District, Bengal, situated in 22 degree 55' N. and 89 degree 13' E., on the Harihar river, about 18 miles south of Jessore town. It is a large centre of the sugar trade. An import trade in rice is carried on, and large quantities of earthen pots and vessels arc manufactured in connexion with the sugar industry. Another local manufacture is brass-work.
