Lingampet
Town in the District and taluk of Medak, Hyderabad State, situated in 18° 11^ N. and 78° 5 E., 20 miles north-west of Medak town. Population (1901), 5,102. Nodular ironstone is smelted for the manufacture of agricultural implements, and brass vessels are also made and exported.
