In brief
The Jaipur campus of Pearl Academy, one of the country's leading institutes of fashion and design, was established in 2007. The institute offers graduate courses in fashion design, textile design, jewellery design and interior architecture. It also offers a post-graduate course in fashion design besides other diploma programmes. The Jaipur campus, with its unique architectural design which uses traditional cooling methods found in the desert environment of Rajasthan, won the award for 'Best Learning Building' at the World Architecture Festival awards held in Barcelona, Spain in 2009.
