Ratesh

A fief of the Keonthal State, Punjab, situated in 31 3' N. and 7725 / E., with an area of 12 square miles. The population in 1901 was 449, and the revenue is about Rs. 625. The present chief, Thakur Hira Singh, exercises full powers, but sentences of death require the confirmation of the Superintendent, Simla Hill States.
