Solah Sarai ('Sixteen inns')
The suburbs of the town of Sambhal, in Moradabad District, United Provinces, are not included in the municipality of that name, but are administered separately under Act XX of 1856. They form a scattered area, with a population (1901) of 10,623 ; and a sum of about Rs. 1,000 is raised annually and expended on watch and ward and on conservancy.
