“A devotee in Lucknow, who built a wonderful museum in his home, decorated many unique forms of Bajrangbali"

Worship of Hanuman Ji has special importance in the month of Jyeshtha. The first Bada Mangal of this month is on 9th May. Hanuman Ji is said to be an exclusive devotee of Lord Shri Ram, but there is a similar devotee of Hanuman Ji in Lucknow. He has created a museum inside his house and has decorated many unique small and big statues, idols and pictures of Hanuman Ji there. This museum is in Vinay Khand of Gomti Nagar. Its name is The Little Museum and that devotee is Ashok Kumar.

This museum has the world's smallest Hanuman Chalisa as well as Hanuman made of gold and silver. Not only this, Hanuman's figure has been engraved on peanuts, which looks very beautiful. Apart from this, they have more than 100 collections of statues, pictures and idols of Bajrangbali, big and small. Not only this, they also have a kite on which Bajrangbali is engraved.

1969: the journey begins

This is how the journey of the devotee and the deity began.

Ashok Kumar tells that in 1969 a postage stamp was issued on Hanuman ji. That postage stamp is still displayed in this museum. After this he developed a passion for collecting all the things related to Bajrangbali. Ashok Kumar tells that he was in a government job. During that time he saw many ups and downs, but in all the ups and downs he remembered Hanuman and all his problems went away. From then on his faith in Bajrangbali became unwavering. He started saving all the things related to Hanuman ji in his 5/40 Vinay Khand, Gomti Nagar. Today there is a wonderful museum here.
