Ambani 10th in world; IS Bangalore 36
Sep 6, 2019: The Times of India
Dhirubhai Ambani International School secured 10th position on the Global Top 50 IB Schools 2019 list. Rankings by UK’s Education Advisers are on the basis of average scores of the passing out IB batch.
The other school from India that made it to the list was International School of Bangalore, ranked 41. Anglo Chinese School, Singapore, topped the table. “This recognition exemplifies our school’s culture of excellence and is truly a testament to our students’ talent and hard work, and our teachers’ steadfast commitment. We are humbled that in a short span of 16 years our young school has emerged as one of the topperforming schools in the world, alongside schools which were established more than hundred years ago,” said school founder and chairperson Nita Ambani.
Les Webb, managing director of Education Advisers, publisher of the rankings, said, “In recent years, this IB table has been dominated by famous private UK schools, but now a number of Asian schools, particularly from Singapore and Hong Kong have been overtaking UK schools in the top 10.”
