2024: 11 villages totally empty

Uttarakhand’s rural development and migration prevention commission submitted a report to the CM in which it stated that 11 villages near the China border in the districts of Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh were “completely empty”. The report was submitted following a survey of 137 border villages.
