The 35 most popular Hindi-Urdu songs of 1990
A note about the credits
Who wrote the song Jaate ho pardes for the film Jeena Teri Gali Main ? Ravindra Rawal, says a usually reliable book. Naqsh Lyallpuri, counters a usually reliable website. T-Series credits the song to both on YouTube. The credibility of T-Series’ YouTube posts is somewhat suspect because they have also credited the title song of this film to both poets, though most authorities agree that that song was written by Ravindra Rawal alone. Therefore, Indpaedia is reluctantly crediting Jaate ho to both, though according to most sources Naqsh Lyallpuri was the sole poet.
